Merry Christmas Everyone!

We would like to write a quick message to everyone that is in this blog just to say Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We hope everyone has had a great year and enjoys the last week of the year this year we had all had ups and downs but have gone through and had overcame these issues.

The team at Evil Fish has had phenomenal year with our views rising and even gained a few subs but on a larger scale we had officially launched adsense on our channel and now on the blog. We also launched a new channel ran and operated by our good friend who has proven to be a great member of the evilfish team. If you haven't yet checked out that channel you can watch it at youtube under the name of EvilClownFish.

We may not be a good channel nor create the best content for the viewers but we love our small viewing community that has subbed us and we truly hope we can reach 150 subs by new years.

How to make a Garry's Mod server?

How to make a Garry's Mod server?

Steps:

1. Download SteamCMD (Download below)
2. Extract SteamCMD into a separate folder on you C:\ Drive
3. Run SteamCMD and let it update and check files
4. Type "login anonymous"
5. Create another folder on C: Drive and call it Gmod
6. Once able to type again enter "force_install_dir "C:\Gmod" "
7. To install Gmod server type "app_update 4020" and let download (may take a while)
8. Validate the server by typing "app_update 4020 validate" (may take a while)
9. Navigate to the Gmod folder and close down steam cmd.
10. Inside the Gmod folder go to "garrysmod/cfg" and open server.cfg and enter the code and edit it to your preference.

11. Navigate back to Gmod folder and create a new text document and name it Start
12. Open the text document and enter the code below

13, Edit the code to run how you want such as players, map and game

14. Save the file as Start.bat

15. Run the file and your server should be operational.

Now all you have to do is change all your settings to your preference, add addons (tutorial soon) and port foward so others can connect.

How to install Gmod Tower!

What is Gmod Tower?

GMod Tower is a unique community-based lobby with centralized multiplayer games. It is a modification within Valve's Source Engine. 

GMod Tower is a collection of various online multiplayer games that each have different genres of gameplay. Each game can be played with 4-90 players across the globe and are complete modifications of the Source engine. 

The lobby aspect is what makes it all work. Players connect to a central lobby server and group up with other players to play these multiplayer games. While in the lobby they can also watch Youtube together, buy furniture and items (such as a piano) for their in-game house, customize their look (hats, skins, etc), bet on casino and cards games, play trivia and arcade games, and participate and various daily activities.

Workshop Content

Steps:

1. Go to the workshop content (Link above).
2. Once on the workshop sign into your steam account.
3. If you have been directed somewhere else just re click the link and you should be signed in automatically.
4. Scroll down a bit till you see a "Subscribe To All" button click on that and wait for the page to refresh.
5. Open the steam application on you computer.
6. Launch Garry's Mod and stay on the menu till you see the downloading content pop up below the menu.
7. Just let the content download
8. Once finished restart game and go to multiplayer, GMod Towe, and then select either server 1 or 2.

Requirements:

• Garry's Mod with Counter Strike: Source and Team Fortress 2 mounted
• 2 GB RAM
• At least 1.2GB of hard drive space with at least 1GB of additional space for future updates
• Steady Internet connection with a decent download speed for streaming media
